We finally get a fight we have been waiting well over a year for. According to Woodley on Instagram and Brett Okamoto on Twitter, Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington will finally get a chance to squash their beef inside the octagon.
September 19th, 2020 these two will throw down at Welterweight. I’m freaking pumped personally. I know Woodley hasn’t looked like the Tyron of old since really his second Stephen Thompson fight but this feud might get him fired up the way he truly needs. Covington is without a doubt the most talented fighter in Welterweight behind only the champion, but his mouth and stupid act with hookers and stuff has him fanless. I personally love his skills and believe he has top 5 Welterweight of all time type talent he just needs to fight way more frequently. This fight with the Woodley of old would be a fight of the year candidate and we will all hold our breath that this does come down to it.
My early predictions without really sitting down and watching their film again, I believe Covington wins this via 2nd round TKO, I’m going off the Woodley we have seen of late.
