Barcelona superstar and the all-time GOAT, Lionel Messi, has informed the club he wants out this summer. He has also been reported to consider using the clause in his contract to opt out to avoid having to wait for the club to find a buyer. This is a massive blow to a team that struggled alot last season to lose their all-time great.
Messi has been with Barcelona since 2001 when he signed on to the junior developmental team at 14 years of age. It is nearly impossible to picture him in another kit, but that seems to be the case, as many expect him to be headed to Man City to play along side his Argentinean teammate Sergio Aguero. If Messi does truly leave Barca it will be a sad day in soccer/football for a long time.
